    That rotation is barf worthy as currently constructed lol. Crazy how much adding Bauer would change all that. I don't think it's happening but we need a player of that calibre eventually, whether it be at the trade deadline or next offseason. I think we'll add Paxton/Odorizzi/Walker for now.

    Bonds Clemons and Schilling need to be in. Bonds and Clemons were easily hall of famers before their supposed steroid taking. The MLB screwed up for not policing its players effectively enough so it's not fair to arbitrarily choosing who to add and who to cut.

    Semien is going from Oakland to the Rogers Center (maybe). Dude just bet on himself to get a longer term contract next year. He can put up 40 HRs potentially assuming we are back in Toronto. I think he bats 3rd after Springer and Bo. 5th at worst.

I'm not sure who would go in the 3 hole but the fact it won't be Grichuk this year is awesome lol. Having Biggio last is more to setup the top of the order.

    I judged him on his brief appearance there last year. Dude looked so awkward throwing the ball from there. Ah well... lets see how people look in spring training before I get my panties twisted lol. I'm so pumped!!!

    Shatkins hater here. The position they have this team in currently is orgasmic lol. Have we ever been in a position to win now and still have an amazing farm system? Feel like it's always been one or the other for us.

    As of right now, Grichuk and Tellez platoon. This provides us awesome flexibility and injury insurance all while being league average in salary. Now let's add an arm or two and get ready for a great season ahead!

    No chance Biggio is playing 3B. Semien is a SS so he better be able to play 3B.

    We will still sign a starting pitcher. Pretty sure it would have taken 2 years to get Turner to leave the Dodgers for us and at his age... no thanks. Rather roll the dice with Semien and hope he can repeat his 2019 performance.

    I agree we need at least 1 front end starter still but you cant be series about not needing Springer. Getting a CF was a major need for the team. It's like saying we don't need a 3rd basement because we already have a bunch of infielders. We need one that plays that specific position at an average level at least.

    Also, please account for inflation. Contracts have progressed up in every sport so using numbers from the past doesn't mean much today.

    I hope they mean play 3B and damn that's a lot even if it's only 1 year. If true, I guess they're using him as a stopgap for when Martin/Groshans come up in 2022.

    Same... rather give him a 3 year deal than Turner a 2 year deal. I see a lot higher upside with Semien but he's also all over the map. A 2 year deal for him would be perfect but I assume it takes 3 to get him.

    Its hard to imagine Turner leaving the only team he's been relevant for and just won a world series with. Only way I see it happening is if he got lowballed by the Dodgers and we blow the offer out of the world. I'm guessing the hold off has been that the Dodgers prefer to give a big 1 year deal since they have to deal with Seager hitting free agency next year, and they dont want Turner on the books during then. I hope we don't go past 2 years on any offer because of his age. He's due to fall off any year now and a season after finally getting his first World Series seems like the perfect timing.
