    No excuse for us though. The same company owns the team owns the broadcast rights. I can understand in a very down year to not give a crap but in a year where you have some legit excitement, you'd think they'd want to take advantage as much as possible.

    Oh I agree later on in the spring. People sitting out afterwards won't matter at all. Just wanted to know if there was something other than rest we had to consider with those 3 sitting out the first game. All good.

    Very good point. Makes too much sense to not do that from almost every standpoint except how far Florida is from Toronto so calling people up from AAA would become harder.
