    No way were we ever going to beat that Bauer offer and clearly we wanted nothing to do with Paxton if we couldn't match/beat what he ended up getting. JBJ + Wong + Odorizzi + Hand would have been my guess. Think I just puked comparing that to what we got lol.

    If we paid JBJ 12 per this offseason, I'd be pissed. There was a time where JBJ and Wong were being thrown around here as our potential offseason. I think we upgraded slightly on that lol.

    One of those 2 seem like a good add. Probably Porcello at this stage since he'd require the least amount of commitment.

    One thing you can say, the Jays sure do their due diligence. I don't see how he'd fit on this team as currently constructed unless we're moving one of our current OFers and I don't think he's good enough now to make any corresponding moves for.

    Looks like Groshans, Martin and Martinez will be on the cusp of breaking through with the team in 2022. Of course we'll see how the minor league season goes before getting too far head of ourselves but I'm really curious who will survive and remain with the team. There wont be enough playing time available for all of them. Its such a great problem to have, one that I don't think we've ever had in my lifetime. My guess is that Martin will end up in the OF while Groshans/Martinez will take over for Biggio/Semien. Does anyone know how Martin looked at CF today?

    Even more pissed seeing those highlights. How about putting some damn cameras if you're going to spend all that money on a facility lol.

    Ahhhh... how can you NOT televise Springer's first at bats with the team regardless if it's Spring Training. And looks like we got our preliminary lineup. I thought we'd have Bo 2nd but don't mind the look at all. Wonder how low Biggio will go once Tellez/Teo are in the lineup. Would be crazy to go from leadoff to 9th lol.

    So my takeaways from the messages here: Martin is moving to the outfield Pearson is 2020 Ray. 2021 Ray is our ace. Missing anything?

    I swear they can broadcast games using just this camera angle. Heck, we don't even need Commentators if they wanna be super cheap. Just show us the video feed man.

    Really want to see him play. Wonder if he'll get any OF reps or if we'll use him primarily at SS. Also the pitching lineup seems intriguing too.

    How can you think his HR total will be in the single digits when he had 8 HRs in 35 games while being in and out of the lineup last year? He might start platooning with Grichuk but his bat might push him into a full time role.

    Kay and Tellez were the top standouts for me today. Hope they can keep building on that.

    But it isn't just Feb baseball for all those non-guaranteed roster guys. Just shorten spring training and get rid of those guys then.

    What are you basing that on? Yankees are better but I think the margin isn't that big.

    I understand he was drafted as a SS but thought he was being penciled in as a 3B at the major league level. Always good to put them at a premium position for as long as possible though.
