    I had the same reaction but seems like Springer will be DH for a little while. I'm guessing that as soon as Springer can play CF, Tellez will come back up. Although we're still losing out on his pinch hits during that time. But it should be better for his development to get full time playing time with the minor league season starting.

    It's the 10 day DL as of now but who knows what actually happens at the end of that period. Jays aren't the most transparent organization with injuries and with our luck, it's hard to be fully optimistic.

    We get Springer back but lose Ryu. Life isn't fair for a Jays fan. Also, really surprised that we're optioning Tellez. I get that we prefer to cycle people through the DH position so he'd lose a lot of plate appearances but thought he could provide some pinch hitting opportunities. Guess we prefer to get his bat back on track and don't want to waste anymore major league at bats for that to happen.

    Hell yes. Kiermaier treated Arozarena like a little league scrub. I'd be pissed if he did that to me especially when he didn't get the out at home.

    Maybe give him a game at DH and see how his body feels with the day off? Then get thrown into CF for Friday if all checks out.

    Whether it was planned or not, there is a lot less pressure coming off Vladdy's 3 HR game than it was before where he was expected to single handedly save this offense.
