  1. The Roark era has officially ended. I'll miss his... uhhh... lol
  2. Totally agree. That is why I can differentiate my thinking of Alomar based on what actually comes out. Organizations need to protect themselves and do what's best for their bottom line while the courts should be impartial. People are screwed over by allegations all the time, which sometimes end up being false or overblown. We will see what side of the moral fence Alomar will fall under once we know more.
  3. Didn't mean it like I'm going to flaunt his name. Just meant I wasn't willing to jump on the other side like you clearly have without knowing the details.
  4. Please fill us in on what the details of his case were? You do understand there is a wide range of what could have happened right? The Law has not spoken yet...
  5. I am easily willing to punk Alomar once the details are known. Until then I will choose to not be judgmental. Didn't realize you're a Judge and already convicted Alomar based on knowing nothing though. Good for you, you blind sheep lol
  6. Why because I'm not willing say he's a scumbag until I hear details of what happened? Are accusations the same as convictions these days? All I said was that I'm not willing to talk like some people who are saying they're "disappointed" in Alomar without even knowing wtf he actually did.
  7. Nah but he could stfu all together. Fact he didn't does make you ponder what will eventually happen. None of us know s*** about the incident so I'll choose to wait before getting out my pitchfork.
  8. Sorry come again... why would you want to turn him into Chris Benoit if this is proven to be false? Typo?
  9. Thats what I assumed at first but Alomars statement doesn't make it seem that way. We'll see I guess but I would be so pissed if we reacted prematurely. There is no going back from the stance we just took.
  10. Oh no... what a horrible human being. He has sex with women who throw themselves at him lol.
  11. I'm Team Robbie until I hear some concrete details. I've seen too much crap where people react thinking they're "woke." Not saying this is the case here but I'm going with the innocent until proven guilty avenue.
  12. Holy s***... wtf did Alomar actually do? The way they're treating this, he should be getting arrested no?
  13. The reason why I put him 9th is because the difference between him and anyone else at the bottom is miniscule currently. Because of that, I thought using the "turning the lineup over" thing doesn't hurt us and actually works best. If he becomes clearly better than the others around him in the lineup then move him up for sure. Like I wouldn't put Jansen ahead of him. There are also no other Lefties to break up either.
  14. With them demoting Tellez, feel like that won't happen for a week or two. At least all the right bats are in the lineup now.
  15. I'd go with the following but going to assume Girchuk might be 5th and Biggio 7th DH Springer SS Bo 1B Vlad RF Teo 2B Semien CF Grichuk LF Gurriel C Kirk 3B Biggio
  16. Wooooooooooooo. Can't wait to see the lineup on paper today.
  17. Damn... look at the pull Joe Panik has lol
  18. He should at least take the last huge deal he's going to get. Can't see him passing up the remaining 12M.
  19. Ohtani has been so great man. Hope he can find a way to stay healthy and do both at a high level. P.S. why the heck can't I hit with Ohtani in MLB the Show. Looks like they only made him playable as a pitcher.
  20. I said he is really valuable but just not as a player who is full time at a particular position. 2B is his best chance to carve that role but guys like him get upgraded upon pretty easily. Heck, Bo can be moved to 2B if we end up landing a SS in the upcoming offseason. His ceiling could be a Ben Zobrist type who was pretty damn good so not all is lost if he doesn't stick somewhere full time.
  21. Gonna wonder at what point we stop trotting Jansen out there. We're giving him every chance to not suck.
  22. I'm sure the team would have loved him to play 3B with Biggio remaining at 2B from the start. He's playing for a huge contract and doubt he moves to a spot he doesn't think he can be great at. Not worth risking $$ from his perspective even though I'd love it as a Blue Jays fan.
