    Sooo... how is it going to feel seeing a packed stadium in Texas. I think the fans don't even need to provide proof that they've been vaccinated. I can see players not going after balls nears the stands lol.

    Not sure when you're quoting my post from but that lineup seems like what I wanted for opening day. When everyone was healthy, I expected Tellez/Grichuk to platoon based on lefty/right matchups to start and let whoever plays better to take the spot full time possibility. With the way things stand now, the position should clearly go to Grichuk based on his upgrade defensively and the fact he's batting better than Tellez too. Tellez will have to hit like that small sample size from 2020 in order to have a chance to take the spot from Grichuk. Realistically, we will probably have one of our regulars out or just needing a day off so both will probably get almost a full seasons worth of at bats assuming they aren't trash.

    My guess is that they don't want a large part of the population to think like Bo. Each country is investing a lot of money and effort in these vaccines and would hate for them to go to waste by expiring. They for sure would probably still provide better/longer benefits than relying on antibodies only. Everyone wants to get things back to normal asap so Bo broadcasting that sentiment isn't what's best for the country but it could be best for him individually for the time being. He probably should have kept this to himself but whatever, he spoke his mind. P.S. Once the vaccine becomes available to me, I will most likely be getting it unless additional news comes out of adverse side effects.

    If a doc says you can avoid getting the vaccine as it won't provide you much to what you already have then why take it now? Let more information come out to ensure it is truly safe. There are already countries stopping use of particular vaccines as there are rare side effects like blood clots. Oh and I'm not an anti vaccine person. I do believe majority of the population should take it since they don't have the resources available to someone like Bo.

    Man, keeping a 4th OFer is paying huge dividends. We'll probably always have someone out of the lineup or needing a day off.

    Ya I thought we were going to trade one for a starting pitcher but really glad we still have this luxury. Still need to get a starting pitcher. We can use our prospect currency for that.

    Grichuk clearly makes our defense better by being in the OF so Tellez will need to be extremely good with the bat to get more appearances than him. With the way things stand, Tellez has made this decision very easy with his Spring and 2 crappy games thus far. It's on him to work his way back to that small glimpse we saw last season. Guys losing at bats to friggin Panik at DH of all people lol.

    Totally agree man. I was pretty anti-shatkins for the very reasons you stated. I couldn't stand the middle approach where they weren't trying to win nor were they full out rebuilding. What also got me upset was their approach to almost all the players you mentioned, they all left under bad circumstances where the relationships felt strained. But that just seemed like it was an ownership thing where they didn't want to lose the fan interest. Glad they turned things around to the point we are today because it looked bleak then.

    It's not fair that a guy like him never even earned a solid paycheck as a pro. He was too damn skilled to make the peanuts he did. Good on AA for looking after his guys.

    Our entire bullpen will be forced into high leverage situations since we pull our pitchers as soon as we possibly can. Let's hope they can hold up.

    I was just stating that Biggio has 0 real hits on the season and was hoping he could change that starting this at bat. Nothing more than that. He is also changing his approach of not taking first pitches so one of his best attributes is being tweaked. Let's hope it works in our favour.
