    His responses to the vaxx questions were just odd but I guess he wanted Merrified to respond to that personally. And maybe I missed something but did Merrified ever say he was vaccinated? Just heard him say he'd be joining the Jays in Toronto so no issues there. Maybe he got a medical exemption from being vaccinated due to other health concerns.

    Agreed... there was a reason why we were favored to win our division prior to the season. It's very realisitic we continue our current run but we also have to hope the Yankees falter at the same time. The hills far too big for both to happen imo but I'd love to be wrong.

    We needed a huge addition like Soto to get those vibes. I think we were like 8 games back or so in 2015 before going on that insane run. There's not enough MOJO on our team for that type of run imo.

    Ya I agree with you... I see too many flaws to lock ourselves into a big longterm deal with Bo at the moment. However, SS is a crucial position so we will need to allocate big funds there to someone else eventually, if not Bo. This offseason will be very telling as to who we expect to be part of our core moving forward. I think we bring back Chapman and one of Gurriel/Teo and add a legit CF.

    There is no way Bo thinks he's anything less than a 25-30M per year type player, especially before entering this season. Dude never batted below 4th in his life before today so this season has been humbling for him probably. The truth is somewhere in between with him being worth about 20M per season during his prime years. Bo/Vlad come from money so theyre not in the same position as other players who would jump on the first long term big money deal they get offered. They will both bet on themselves until they get the deal they deem right.
