I think most expect him to go back to the 8/9 spot. With everyone sucking at the plate, it makes sense to milk everything we can while the others hopefully regain their hitting skills.

Yup... this is clearly a front office decision on how to manage their pitchers. We all remember the Tampa Bay Wild Card game when we removed Shoemaker and Ray early only to bring in AJ f***ing Cole and how our front office reacted to the backlash.

Ya I think he had a horrible read from the bat and then it was too risky to go for it. He has been horrible in the field so far this year.
