    There is no way he can tag out a runner at 1st there. He is playing further off the line but is playing more shallow so give and take there I guess.

    Why does Vladdy lineup like that at 1b? Not only is he playing more shallow, he gives himself no chance to tag out the runner on a good throw back from the pitcher.

    Both Gurriel and Moreno are batting over .300 this year... just thought I'd mention that lol.

    So I know Chapman is a good defender usually but when we traded for the guy, he was being mentioned as one of the best 3rd baseman defenders of all time. Clearly that was because of the huge foul ground in Oakland that allowed him to get more balls than others typically could get to.
