    You should easily be able to play 2B if you're playing SS. It's like saying a CF can't play RF or LF, which Springer has done on many occasions now. Just annoying to hear all this talk about winning now and yet in back to back seasons... we've handicapped ourselves at the most important defensive position in baseball. Everybody else can be moved around or substituted defensively except Bo for some reason...

    So when the hell are we going to move Bo off SS? Back to back years we've had the better SS play 2B because we don't want to hurt his feelings. Best man for the job is the way it should be when youre in win-now mode period!!

    When Rogers charges everyone some of the highest prices in the world, they can afford to waste money like this. That extension was a joke from the start and looks even dumber now. Go look at most people's reaction when that news was announced lol

    Not a single thing will change in terms of roster/lineup management. That was clearly a collective effort. Now I hope the players take him seriously and cut it out with the fooling around. It's cute when you're young and not expected to win but not when you were one of the World Series favourites.

    Exactly how I feel. Hard ot celebrate Montoyo losing his job when he seems like a great human being. BUT from a pure baseball standpoint, which is mostly what I care about, this needed to happen. This season wasn't all his fault because i feel most of the moves made are in conjuction with Shatkins but we need a Manager who is taken more seriously and gets listened to when he speaks like a true leader. From the outside, felt like the players run the clubhouse and enough of that crap.

    Well obviously 2016 is AA's team and 2020 was a shortened season where Ryu was top 3 in CY young... that should tell you everything about that season lol. Ultimately this front office has no excuse but to at least make the playoffs this year. If we somehow don't even do that, Shatkins entire tenure will begin to be questioned

    This team has been a joke from the start. We knew there were flaws when we had a negative run differential while being 10 games over .500. Brightside, team has talent so we're obviously not far off. It's hilarious how the only winning this franchise has done are when Shatkins were totally against the moves in 2015 lol. The honeymoon phase with this management is over... they've had 7 years to put this together and we've yet to even make the playoffs. I don't want to hear any more excuses... just do better or gtfo. Having Charlie as your Manager during these winning times is probably the most frustrating part of their tenure.
