    Clearly not based on the decisions they make. They're a bunch of robots decision making wise and have the robotic personalities to match. It's why they never really won over the fanbase truly. Although they had me in 2021 but lost me afterwards.

    Yup and yet we still got smoked against an absolute trash team. Clearly no fault of KK/Varsho lol. This team is not inspiring a lot of confident to an already shaky fanbase. Let's hope he turn this s*** around.

    At least Gausman has an excuse missing all of spring training. Scoring 2 runs against this turd of a team should be more worrying.

    Reality is that both have been subpar but with pitching, rotations are already set in stone for the most part so there's not much debate needed there. Offensively you're able to tweak/change things a lot more frequently to help improve. That's why you'll always hear more talk here, not to mention track record let's us assume our pitching will be good and the hitting will always be our weakness. My 2 cents.

    I think most people don't agree with whatever predictive models this franchise has been using the past few years. Players are human and not robots... there are going to be times when certain guys are hot/cold and you need to be able to adjust accordingly.

    I agree with you but I cannot stand that you need to double down/triple down on your previous stupid moves. IKF/Biggio have at least earned playing time but there is 0 reason why KK/Varsho both need to be in the lineup. This team isnt good enough to drop any wins even if it's in April. With the great starting pitching/bullpen we have, the difference in the entire game can be a single at bat and I'd rather see Schneider/Clement in there than either of those guys at the moment.

    Think I saw a stat somewhere that showed the Blue Jays are 5-0 when Schneider starts and 1-7 when he doesn't. Obviously I'm not going to give that much credit to Schneider, I think most of us would prefer to Varsho/KK split CF duties and be late inning pinch runner/defensive replacement until they can at least bat above .200.

    Mayza has shown something isn't right so he better be going on the IL to figure his crap out. We don't have the luxury of throwing away wins just to get him right. Our bullpen is too good for this.

    You kind of nailed it tbh. It's easier to see and discuss the context in person but another thing to do it on a message board. I honestly didn't know it was that bad considering the amount of crap gets posted here. Regardless, never meant to offend anyone to that extent and will move forward without saying it again. Just posting the Southpark clip that I found hilarious and my train of thought on the word lol.

    Well, I can speak on this since I was just recently banned for a few weeks lol. It would be helpful to know what the lines are since I got banned for using the F word. I see so many other crazy things that are let go and obviously didn't know this word is crossing a line while everything else is allowed. I'm a simple man who watches South Park and there is one episode that perfectly outlines the context in how I meant to use the term. Regardless, not trying to make a massive deal here. I simply didn't know what words were not allowed and kinda wish I got a warning at least since that was the first time I probably used it on this board. Let's go Blue Jays!

    If we miss the playoffs or get knocked out in embarrassing fashion in the Wild Card series again, Atkins has to go. At that point, Shapiro's clock needs to start ticking. Let's see though, maybe the year we don't expect as much will be the year we finally get over the hump.

    Jays clearly needed to combine the money they spent on KK and IKF for an impact LF bat. It's what 99% of the people wanted but they went down this path instead. Let's see how it goes. I'll take 2-2 at the trop to start.
