Holy s***... he had a career high 23 stolen bases last year... 13 was the highest before that. Guess he clearly made use of the larger bases and the new rules.

One thing we should all agree on is that we have nothing to lose by trying new things. It would be different if our hitters were coming off some amazing seasons so you just keep being patient but for most of the guys, they have been performing well below expectations for 2+ seasons. Our team should be rewarding whoever is performing the best at the time, no one other than Bo maybe deserves the benefit of the doubt right now. If Vladdy/Springer and whoever else start performing better then we move them back up the lineup. These guys need a wakeup call... we don't have the benefit to throw games away now. -
Agreed... everyone was scared to play us in the playoffs that year. Semien had just a great year and that 1 easy toss to first ended our chances. Argghh

Agree with this mostly but the team still wasnt good enough to even make the playoffs in an expanded playoff era. It is still the most exciting season under the Shatkins era and wish they didnt go totally to the other extreme in terms of offense vs defense.

Shulman said on the broadcast that it takes the crew 30 minutes to do that. From the sounds of the tweets, looks like the Royals delayed the entire process in hopes of getting this exact outcome.

Just checked the schedule for the Royals and they gotta travel to Detroit to play the Tigers at 1PM tomorrow. That's kind BS for them tbh.
