    Crazy for a team that has prioritized defense so much at the cost of offense would allow Bo to play the most important defensive spot on the field. There is 0 justification of him playing SS over Gimenez this season other than just being scared of Bo's feelings. Treat him the way you've treated Vlad all these years...

    I would agree if we didn't make any additional transactions as part of this pursuit. Fans won't give 2 shits if we got additional IFA space if it means we have less budget to improve the team in 2025. This is something that would be good for a REBUILDING team, not a team that has so much at stake with their 2 best players about to hit free agency.

    Sure this is true if the Jays had an endless budget and can still make all the moves they needed this off-season. Sadly we know that's not true, which is why this move will become a massive joke if we don't land Sasaki. As of now, we are on path to repeat last years off-season. We can also be on the path to have a great off-season if we land Sasaki and sign 2 of Alonso/Bregman/Santandar/Profar. Time will tell...

    So 2M is going to make a difference for Sasaki when he could just wait 2 years and get paid a 200M contract instead? Its pretty obvious that money doesnt matter to him because no one's that stupid. Cleveland Indians fans jumping for joy with this move.

    If Sasaki signs with the Dodgers, I didn't think there was anyway the Jays could do worse than last off-season but we are very close to doing so.

    Replacing KK was obviously one of the biggest concerns for Shatkins so he wins either way, its just the Jays fans that are losers lol

    Wow... if Sasaki doesn't sign here then this is going to be worse than the 2024 off-season. A team on a budget crunch using money to spend on a scrub who can be filled with from AAA.

    He literally posted this minutes around when the Mets said they're out on Alonso. His whole premise of using Vlad for leverage on Alonso went out the window real quick lol.

    I have no issues giving Alonso a 4/100 and would go as high as 5/125. Pretty sure he's been trying to get 30M AAV based on reports so he'd have to come down on that for any long term deal. This team desparately needs power and his down years are better than majority of the league's career years. He just turned 30 and I have faith that he'll still be able to keep on smashing until the very end.

    Ya he's not playing like a 25M player anymore but if we can move him down to the 5th spot this year then it won't be as bad. I've been saying all off-season that our goal needs to be to move Springer out of the top 4 of our order. This is probably what's going to make or break the off-season for me.
