  1. According to mlb sources the St Louis Cardinals has reached a deal with Blue Jays free agent Corey Dickerson. The deal is supposedly a 5 mil dollar 1 year deal with incentives.
  2. The rumors are that the Blue jays are making a push for Kyle Schwarber as 1st/DH player to share with Vladdy. Rumors has it that the Red Sox are in the Freddie Freeman Sweepstakes. Votto has no intention in coming home to Toronto he made that quite clear a few years ago his intention are to retire as a member of the Reds.
  3. I wouldn't hold too much hope on that deal sources says that Freeman is looking for a 6 year deal worth $180 mil. He likely like to stay in Atlanta if they pay him otherwise he going to a big market team and it won't be in Canada
  4. This indicates to me that Ray only wanted to be a Blue Jays if that the most money he could get on a contract can't blame the front office you snooze you lose their offer was legitimate. The Blue Jays went after Gausman and signed him leaving Ray out of the mix.
  5. The Mariners were on Semien till they aquired Adam Frazier via trade on Saturday then their interest wasn't as needy for Semien.
  6. Hey Gausman is a blue jay as predicted , Semien gone to the Rangers, Ray will likely be gone maybe the Angels or the Cards.
  7. Looks like the Yankees and Dodgers might be heading into bidding war for Corey Seager as per MLB.com
  8. To me this is an indication the Jays front office is moving away from Ray and Semien there's noway with this contract to Berrios the next step is lock in Vladdy and Bichette IMO.
  9. Checkout Anthony Castrovince bold predictions he saying the same thing except he has Robbie Ray going to the Angels.
  10. Blue jays are looking into Eduardo Rodriguez from the Red Sox that probably means they have a hunch that Ray will sign elsewhere and so will Semien especially since hiring Scott Boras as his agent who is famous for extorting the maximum money deals available for his clients.
  11. Talks around is that Marcus Semien signs with the Mariners and Robbie Ray signs with Cardinals while the Yankees gets Seager and the Blue Jays reaches a deal with Kevin Gausman.
  12. The Yankees are a good team and they figured out Robbie Ray he throws 60% 4 seam fastball 30%sliders 7% curveball and 3% changeups the Yanks laid off his secondary pitches and look for the 4 seam fastball and tattoed them for the win. Anyways this is pretty much over but the crying right now the Blue jays need to win all their games the Red Sox and Mariners have to lose at least one of their remaining games to go in a one game playoff against the Yankees with Robbie Ray on the mound again they might want to revisit that decision I would go with Berrios he's the one who mange to handle the Yankees the best lately.
  13. Wow what a nerve racking game yesterday Berrios was dealing but what a let down from Mayza talk about a bad pitch he served to Higashioka in the 7th inning a slider middle in any MLB hitter can put that ball in play. I was disgusted after that sloppy delivery I could live better with the Richards offering knowing full well that pitch wasn't bad pitch it was even talked about the MLB channel saying it was 1.26 feet off the dirt they all said it took superb effort from Stanton to put that ball in play let alone hit it out. Luckily Bo Bichette came through because in the crunch because we could easily suffered another heart breaking loss at the hand of the bullpen
  14. That wasn't a bad pitch location for Richards it wasn't anywhere near the strike zone have to give credit to Stanton for hitting that pitch out at top of the shoe laces. Giancarlo has been extremely hot at the plate lately the thing I ask is why didn't they wave the four fingers to put him on first base.
  15. Give the fact that Borucki was ejected from the game and both benches cleared pretty much sum up the feeling from both team. I do think it was intentional given the situation on what had happened in the previous game. The game was out of hand anyways whether Borucki did it on his own is yet to be known but I wouldn't be surprise on a 3 to 5 game suspension the fact that the incident involving Kiermaier was pretty well broadcast through the sporting world and possible payback was to expected does force the MLB to address the situation.
  16. Ryan Borucki will likely get a suspension for yesterday plunking of Kevin Kiermaier as he was made to leave the game immediately after the incident meaning that the umpires ruled it intentional. Do you think that was the smart thing to do or do you figure it was stupid and childish in such an important game. I believe that Borucki will likely get 5 games for his action on Kiermaier. Do you guys feel he might get more or less games.
  17. The best thing for the club he's been horrible in his last few starts to the point that they said he had the 4th worst ERA in the league in his last 7 starts. This will take him out till season end and then the one game playoff which they would pitch Ray. Then they can re-evaluated his situation going forward if he's healthy enough.
  18. Good analysts but I have to disagree why not use Pearson, Merryweather or Borucki with that big lead to get them that experience needed and for Borucki to reinvent himself on the mound.
  19. I feel that Joakim Soria is the least reliable pitcher out of our BP i just don get how you can get behind a guy that has 7.88 ERA in 8 IP and 7 ER . It's much guarantee that the opposition will end up scoring some runs during his outing given the closeness of the playoff race one would think it might be time to consider to DFA him given his age one wouldn't think they're looking to bring him back for next year. I certainly don't want to see him out on the mound again for sure.
  20. Let's go Jose Berrios let keep the momentum going.
  21. Yesterday historically Canada tested it's first newly acquired cruisemissle at the Rogers Center it was fired from the bat of baseball highly touted player Vladimir Guerrero Jr it was fired at 114 MPH the laser like guided bomb sail at very low level in a straight line over left field wall.
  22. The Blue Jays are sitting in the top spot of the AL wildcard with the Boston Red Sox. The only drawback we are going into a series against the Rays the divisional leaders while the Yankees plays the Twins in which the Yanks had won their last 3 games against the Twins. Meanwhile the Red Sox are going to the west coast to play the Mariners which they split evenly their games each team winning 2 games going head to head hopefully the jet lag and time zone differential help out the Mariners. The Yanks 1 GB of a wild card spot could easily make up some ground hopefully it's on the Red Sox. Hopefully our pitching and defense hold out because the Rays pitching could be hard to figure out.
  23. Yeah and Chris Sale was shut down at 30 yrs old requiring Tommy John surgery just returning now after missing 2020 no guarantees. He'll be 30 soon next year 31 too risky for a long term deal.
  24. I OK with resigning Ray but I wouldn't go overboard with money or long term wise. He's right at that age when things start to catch up with the body. The last thing I want to see is a Chris Sale or David Price scenario with mega dollars attached to the deal. Teams have gotten wiser now especially with pitchers with velocity and high inning pitched that's a disaster in the making and unfortunately it happens way to often.
  25. We get it Wilko he's your boyfriend don't be heartbroken Milwaukee is much closer to Havana than Toronto there's still hope he could get traded to Florida and with a good telescope you could see each other everyday.
