Charlie continues to showcase horrible bullpen management. I honestly would've fired him after last year because of this. The Jays missed the playoffs by 1 game. If it wasn't for Charlies idiocy they would've been a shoe in.

Jeeze, that's kinda radical... Winning a division is usually the gold standard but now if you simply have a lesser record than the other 2 division winners you have to play an extra series? I'm not sure if I like that... Seems kinda screwball

I've kind of been out of the loop and the rules are changing so much from year to year lately. There's 3 wildcard teams this year? Is the 3 game between the 2nd and 3rd wildcard to determine who plays the first wildcard? I'm sure I'll get roasted for asking this here but I kind of zone out from baseball in the off season and focus all of my attention on other sports.

Yeah man, it's like if Trout grounds into a double play in a crucial situation. Stings a lot more because of the expectations.

Exactly. Fans wanna see the centerpiece of the lineup have productive at bats. When Vladdy comes to the plate with runners on base, people get excited so the letdown of a double play is obvious.

Damn man, Kirk's one of the funnest guys in the league to watch right now. In the words of Fangraphs, he may have the physique of a bowling ball but the guy can hit!

No one's crying. Fans are just hoping he would've continued where he left off last year. Still lots of time to turn things around and no ones panicking. Just something that's worth discussing.

I remember his work ethic was in question when he came to camp overweight a couple years back. I wonder if after his monster season he started to take things for granted a little bit. Still, can't really complain about 13 dingers at this point in the season. Hopefully he goes on a tear again

lol and I remember they had the number of outs wrong during a game against Anaheim. It tripped me out cause I was kinda watching the game while I was multitasking

lol no kidding. You'd think the Jays were losing by 10 runs or something. Vasquez in the top of the 8th when the Jays are only down 3 with a depleted Twins bullpen? There's no rhyme or reason to it. Montoyo is brain dead.
