    Again, no love for Romano. He gets a last minute call to go up to AAA for his first time. He then proceeds to outpitch the opposition pitcher, pitches enough innings to get a win and only allows 2 runs. I think I am seeing the Millenials generation Jack Morris affect here. Morris’s numbers and ERA sucked, but he pitched as needed to the opponent and won, and won or put his team in a position to win.

    This is a really s***** defensive team this year and it is killing our pitchers..

    If Tulo comes back and starts hitting, I wonder if we could unload him to the Phillies in a deadline deal.

    This mix and match of players everyday has cost them and is going to cost them again. There is something to be said for continuity.

    Smoak is really sucking at situational hitting... Couldn't at least move the runner over yesterday in the 9th and today Ks with 1 out man on 3rd..

    I think sometimes Smoak should hit from the right side against a RHP... He seems to be better and some RHP have reverse splits.. I wish Gibbons was not so inflexible with match ups some times..

    Not good at starting, not good at the pen now... Maybe they should have let him adjust back to the pen at AAA if they decided the SP experiment is over.. (which it should be)

    This Martin thing at SS just doesn't make sense.. He is one of the worst hitters on the team.. It is not like you want to try and get his bat in there.. His value is behind the plate with pitchers, not some mid-season fantasy he has to play SS..

    It seems really unfair to our fifth pitcher and a guy who needs help to not put the best D on the field we can for him.. Our D has really been hurting our starters and elevating pitch counts etc.. You would think it would be an area of focus. Pitching and D always beat offense.

    Vlad and Bichette aint going to help much if we dont have pitching.. and I dont see anything but some maybe who are even close on the pitching side.

    I blame Buck the f*** for being a curse.. Saying how good the pen is when we know it is not. Buck has a habit of always saying a guy hasnt hit a HR in 55 ABs and then he will hit a HR. Bad luck Buck the f***..

    What does Romano need to do to get respect on this board..? You guys threw some valid stats at me last time I asked this question. However, the guy keeps on performing, game after game at his level....and at the end of the day he has a .207 era and is avg 6 plus innings..
