    Don't want to divert the thread.. However, my observations are is that they treat the labor and delivery area like a sacred sanctuary. I don't think they would use a test they didn't feel was reliable. They would probably just do frequent testing of mom's scheduled to deliver at whichever facility, Babies are not surprises apart from a few weeks here or there. Point being, if they can use it with faith in a labor and delivery area of a hospital, I think they can for some baseball player... Especially if they do multiple tests creating a redundancy... My .02 cents.

    My wife went into labor and delivery at the hospital last Friday here in Florida. They tested her for COVID before they let her up when we arrived at the ER. The results were back in 5-7 minutes.. Negative thank God..

    So if anyone wants to know why I was pushing for expanded rosters.. Just a short while ago, merely hrs before the season starts. I have 3 green flag MILB guys lose their flag and go to active MLB because they were placed on a team's 30 man roster. Two of the three have never even set foot in the majors and now they are no flag MLB active roster players. This puts me in a real pickle now... I would never come into any league and ask for changes in a regular season (NON-COVID). It is what it is when I signed up and I accepted that. However, this is an unpredictable s*** show (this MLB season) and hence I was asking in various leagues for some more flexibility..

    There are plenty of businesses all over the world that are continuing day to day during COVID. Many people going to work who are not making a $650K USD minimum salary. This is why we have expanded rosters and taxi squads. Suck it up buttercups and drive on!!! Play Ball!!!

    The big issue with AAA parks was the hot tubs, training rooms, weight rooms etc.. Field of Dreams doesn't have s***!

    What ever the "new" solution" we are def going to be at a competitive disadvantage with all the remaining options. However, on the other hand, what is a team's motivation for doing well this year? You win the WS and there will be a BIG asterisks beside it. Owners don't get the gate associated with a WS winner, stretch run, playoffs etc. You don't get a high draft pick next year. You might burn extra years of control using players to win.. Really not much motivation this year to be a winner...
