I think Osuna is an ******* and we will soon find out if her is a criminal. I also think he is a good pitcher. At what point do criminals no longer get the privilege to come to Canada/USA, let alone play a sport for entertainment? If he shot her?, dropped her off a balcony? Threw her off a boat? These guys for some reason are put on a pedestal. Most don't have the intelligence to forward their career by learning to speak English. Why does a criminal get to play baseball in the United States but a strawberry picker without a criminal record has to be hoarded on a bus under gunpoint?

I don't think he will return to beast mode. More likely he just had a few great seasons on a really good hitting team until Sept 2016.

I don't understand why Travis is back. He was hitting just 210 in AAA in 62 plate appearances. Who thinks he could do better in the show? Jacoby has to go. Pathetic. PS - since when is Martin the all-round baseball player? He totally sucks. -

The next thing Major league sports should do is make these guys accountable for all their kids. I heard a few years back that some NFL player had 3 girls (different mothers) all in the same year and gave them all the same name. I think he had 6 other kids as well.

"own recognizance" is a bail condition. He had to post bail. Unlike in the US, there is no posting of money. There is a promise to pay if you break the conditions.

No ******** from me. If Osuna did hit a woman, if proven, I never want to see him again. I expect him to be a criminal and have his work visa revoked. There is no place for this crap. Athletes are not my heros (Bobby Orr was when I was a kid), they are pawns for entertainment. Coming to Canada is a privilege. I saw a video a few months ago. I think it had a AA player hitting a girl a number of times in a stairwell. What happened to him? STOP the f***in violence!!

This is totally beyond me. I do watch, and I have played (50 years ago) multiple sports. I do know "that the more you know, the more you realize you don't know". You guys must have played semi-pro/pro or something like that. Certainly not common knowledge.

Thank you. I really appreciate it. I need to digest this for a while. So, is a good splitter the same as a sinker? Sorry to interrupt, are the catcher's signals consistent throughout baseball? I will look up the signals but just asking. Once again, i'm sure I am not alone.

Maybe not the best time to ask... Lots of experts out there. At some point can someone do a learning course on pitching? I am confused with a few things. What is a slider versus split versus cutter versus 2,3,4 finger fastball, versus curve? I get the fastball and changeup. Probably different for righties versus lefties as well. Feel free to post private or general. I'm sure I am not alone. Thx BTW, good game.
