  1. haven't read this thread yet, but I just assumed they'd roll with Liriano. Orioles have roughed up Stroman this year and they suck against nasty lefties. Kinda confused. But absolutely ecstatic to watch this game, COME ON STROSHOW
  2. Playoffs in back to back years!?! How awesome is this?! Congrats to the 2016 Jays! Here's to another championship boys:o:cool: Let's get it done!
  3. Eduardo Rodriguez is a gas-can. I think the Jays get it done tomorrow. The only problem is it looks like the Tigers should roll tomorrow too. On Sunday it's Verlander VS Tehran. That's definitely gonna be a close one and a must watch. It doesn't get any easier for us though facing Price.
  4. There's a real possibility that the Jays will be involved in a game 163 to determine the 2nd wildcard winner.
  5. I don't see that happening. From what I gather the Jays are really disliked around the league. I think Farrell and the team would take great joy in eliminating the Jays from the playoffs. And besides I actually think the Sox would like playing Cleveland with all of their pitching injuries.
  6. Nicely put. I'm a Jays fan first and foremost, but aside from the Jays Big Papi's my favorite power hitter in the game.
  7. Rain could be a godsend, it looks like it's ratting Kimbrel
  8. I know everyone's choked, but it's not over yet boys. Even if we do lose tonight, we're still a half game up on Detroit while they have an extra game to play than us... Even if Detroit wins that last game of the season, it still means we're currently tied for a playoff spot. I can't understand the attitude of "the seasons over". It's gonna be tough, but it aint over yet.
  9. Just think of the epic sensationalism ensuing. Could be Jays VS the O's in a one gamer and if we win they'd go on to face their bitter rivals in the Rangers for another series. f***, sports don't get any better than that!
  10. I think now that they've recently seen Mitchell that they're gonna lay down a beating! Wildcards tightening up, we need this!
  11. The Las Vegas Gaming Commission seems to think that the Jays are gonna roll. Lines up to as high as -225 for the Jays at some books.
  12. I just find it unlikely that a true Jays fan would sign up here and when deciding to come up with a username decides on KevinGregg. There can't certainly be a Jays fan who's ever been a legitimate fan of that guy can there?
  13. Are there no active mods here or something? Half the members seem to be obvious trolls and mostly post reactionary nonsense meant to stir up drama. I see user names like "Tholesweirdeye", SweetSmellingChacin, Kevin Gregg ETC. It's all obviously people trying to disrupt the community. And I've read lots of nonsense about several posters who are known trolls and they still freely degenerate the conversation. There's some really solid baseball savvy people here but it's hard to navigate around all of the trolls. What's the deal with that? Just 1 mans 2 cents.
  14. Not really liking the matchup and optics for this game as far as a Jays win goes. Walkers the kinda pitcher who usually give the Jays fits... But he's been known to be pretty volatile, so let's hope he's off his game and Estrada keeps us in it. But still, The Jays at Safeco just doesn't bode well.
  15. You're a beacon of wisdom man
  16. Definitely a hard game to watch. Gibbons was brutally out-managed by Scioscia. It's gonna be real tough for this team to take that kinda mentality in a huge ballpark against a surging Mariners team.
  17. At least if we get a wildcard we'll likely be up against Baltimore. They don't really have anyone too scary in their rotation. Aside from the last start, a guy like Sanchez should matchup pretty well against them.
  18. True, but we're an offense built for that park. We certainly have a little bit of a disadvantage when we go out West, but we still have a team capable of hitting some serious bombs, no matter the park.
  19. Kudos for being a voice of reason here. I'm a die-hard Jays fan, but some of the fans are too much
  20. Aren't we still like the 3rd most productive offense in the AL? Get real guy. Just cause the guys raked with historical proportions last year doesn't mean you should expect it every year.
  21. Ouch, total ump show for Yuni... I'll take it!
  22. Kinda hard to understand all of the panic and outrage going on with the media over the Jays. We're 2 games up on a wildcard spot with only 16 games left to go. That's pretty awesome. I don't know why some people think that just because we won the division last year that it's expected they do it again. Let's not lose sight of the fact that if the team was in this position last year that we'd all be ecstatic. It's gotta be annoying to the players to play in a city with such a reactionary, dumbass media.
  23. f*** YEAH MARTIN! Just like that boys! we got this s***
