  1. I dunno man. I think when you're an aging roster like the Yankees that you just have to try and strike when you smell blood.
  2. How bout that stupid-ass Yankees org eh? They sell off all of their difference makers while they're still only 3 games back of a playoff spot... George Steinbrenners rolling over in his grave...
  3. I know there's a fellow or 2 here who believes that all of the favorable calls go to the Yankees... Hopefully that Headley call is a validation to prove that you're out of your minds.
  4. Who really cares? People lie all of the time online. Why take it so personally? I have no idea whether he's telling the truth or not, but he seems like a good poster from what I've read.
  5. Martin was a big part of the victory today fellas. I think he framed at least 10-12 balls for strikes tonight... And in a close game that's a huge deal breaker for the Stro's. God, it's so nice having a good catcher after years of Zaun, JPA, Navarro, Myers ETC.
  6. Probably has some sort of partial tear somewhere in there. Someone pointed it out to me quite some time ago that his arm has never been the same since and after some evaluation it turns out he was totally right. Bautista used to be known for his strong throwing arm, now he's got a wet-noodle arm. Should definitely be moved to first or DH when he signs with a new team.
  7. Gattis swinging for the fences too... All or nothing Astros eh?
  8. f***... Have Jays RL... That Rasmus stroke had me breathing heavy.
  9. Ever since he was butthurt at the Orioles and threw it out trying to throw Delmon Young out on a sure thing single.
  10. hahaha atta boy Russ! I think I have a man crush:p
  11. Biagini the new set up man? What in the f***'s wrong with Gibbons?
  12. I've missed a few games recently, but BJ Uptons pretty much done nothing for us so far right? I haven't liked what I've seen.
  13. Jays have always seemed to struggle lately when they travel out West
  14. Ughh Saunders is sure crashing back down to earth in a hurry.
  15. Russ has this ump eating outta his hands I f***ing love that we have a top notch catcher locked up.
  16. I like Hannity too. People make fun of me for watching Fox News, but I can't stand the hypocrisy and biased opinions on CNN and MSNBC. Those guys are all over Hillary Clintons vagina and it's tiresome... Say what you will about Donald Trump but he's clearly the lesser of the 2 evils when it comes to H.Clinton.
  17. Thanks for the useful advice. I guess I'll just give up on this plan then. I realize there's an enormous amount of fans in Seattle any time the Jays come to town, but I thought that that might work in my advantage (IE players are more willing and wanting to show their gratitude and sign more for the fans than they'd usually bother with)
  18. Lol oh god... I certainly won't ever be that guy
  19. I can't be the only die-hard baseball fan out there who enjoys collecting memorabilia.
  20. I was thinking of just coming with a duo-tang with pages of the cards of the Jays roster. There would probably be a few guys like some of the call ups that I don't have, but I have most. The duo-tang would be great for on the spot signatures... No shuffling around and you ensure that the cards stay in good condition.
  21. Yeah, that's certainly part of the problem. Some stereos/boom-boxes that you buy don't even have AM radio anymore and when they do the quality's awful. I've had some MP3 players over the years with radio built in with great reception and even those only give you the FM option. Is there some kind of fiscal reason why they can't move the station onto the FM dial?
  22. I'm heading down to see the Jays for a few games at Safeco in September and I'm hoping to get some cards signed. Are you able to go down by the dugouts before/after the game to try and get autographs even if you're not seated near that location? I've been building up my sports-card collection lately and it would be nice to add some Jays sigs to it. Any advice is gladly welcomed! Thanks guys
  23. I appreciate all of the insight guys. It appears I'm the one in the minority here. Maybe I'll have to give Joe and Jerry a listen one of these days:o:p
