It's been seven years already since we drafted this guy, didn't realize it was that long ago. He was part of the package of guys traded for the mediocre pre Pittsburgh version of Happ.
Absolutely, a baseball fired at close range with intent, by a pitcher...incredibly dangerous, nothing else that happened in that clip really comes close. Disgusting behavior, none of the other 50 odd players felt the need to grab a weapon.
This link has video, and says that apparently some scouts had him up as high as 102MPH.

The step was definitely classless, but the baseballs are on a whole different level. Hopefully they're able to pinpoint who it was and throw the book at him.
That's what his rehab assignment was for. When your best hitter successfully completes a rehab stint, you put him back in the meat of the order where he belongs. You don't insult the guy by bumping him down in case he doesn't hit well.
