  1. That wasn't even a bad pitch, nice piece of hitting
  2. Tragic, all that potential gone to waste
  3. Every once in awhile the late sales pitch works out. Not often, but often enough to say "why the f*** not" with some picks here and there rather than taking a college player with less ceiling.
  4. Kid doesn't sound like he learned much about bargaining in college haha
  5. No I get that, but keep him stretched out so he can handle long mop up jobs and possibly start if needed. If he sticks in the pen it's likely as a long man.
  6. Well we aren't exactly swimming in starting pitching depth, so probably a good idea to keep him stretched out in case he's needed for a spot start for some reason.
  7. That commercial narrated by Harold Reynolds is nails on a chaulkboard nauseating.
  8. Mediocre without getting a top pick, doing our part to keep them right where we want em.
  9. Bellinger with two HR last night off of LH relievers, one of whom happened to be Andrew Miller (first dinger he's allowed since the playoffs).
  10. Has Rowdy not been a slow starter in the past? Or is my brain just making s*** up again?
  11. I think he'd be a good rental for the right price. Even if we get back to full health that's a solid contingency plan to have around for the infield.
  12. Toronto has yet to place a formal timeline on Travis’ absence, though the 26-year-old acknowledged last week that the new bone bruise and cartilage damage suffered in the same right knee that he suffered in the offseason would keep him out for an extended period. Travis expressed frustration to Sportsnet’s Shi Davidi at the time, explaining that there’s no one incident to which he can tie the injury, which he initially felt after a lengthy flight from Toronto to Oakland.
  13. Everything about that pick says underslot to me. Not like one of those complete punts, but I have to think this is a selection that helps pay for those prior.
  14. Going to assume he has a great glove. That is one classy looking soup strainer.
  15. Rosario seems about as ready as it gets? They could have a nice trio of young position bats to build their lineup around moving forward with him, Conforto and Dom Smith.
