It's more important with Vlad because he's a much better prospect. All I'm saying is that it's still beneficial having team control over a player who happens to be a bit older. I think the importance of protecting service time is a lot more tied to the value you think you can accrue during said time, and has nothing at all to do with the player's current age.

You'll have to explain why you think protecting service time is any less beneficial when a prospect happens to be older.
