    Re: starting France over Schneider. By the time this team reaches the playoffs (a distinct possibility at this stage) all the batters on the roster have to get a minimum amount of reps in so that if called upon they can contribute in a key situation. France just cant sit on the bench until October. Therefore, if he has to get his reps in (like everyone else) you may as well play him against the Rockies. This is a prudent approach if we're thinking beyond just the next series but looking at the season on the whole. This is a first place team right now that Ross has assembled.

    Well to be honest I would rather Springer DH over Santander. Perhaps Santander being out of the lineup gives us the best chance of winning.
