  1. These Florida fans are something.
  2. This game is uncomfortably close now.
  3. Diaz misheard the communication from New York so he just kind of made it up. May as well have Frank Drebin as crew chief.
  4. that fan should be tarred and feathered.
  5. Probably worked for him once in the minors and he's been trying ever since.
  6. Howie Mandel despite his wealth and fame still tries to scam a discount for a pair of Sketchers.
  7. They're nothing without the Trop. That place is devilish.
  8. Ernie Clement draws a walk....amazing.
  9. Yankees off to an early lead tonight.
  10. If Little is a lock over Dominguez then someone hasn't been watching games the last month. He is there for expedience cause there isn't anyone better right now.
  11. You have Little as a lock over Dominguez and Yrod?
  12. They talk about this in the movie Fastball. Good watch. https://m.imdb.com/title/tt5434972/?ref_=ext_shr_lnk
  13. The Yankees as a team have struck out 30 times in the last two games. 😂
  14. Morosi has Bo on a plane heading to Toronto right now.
  15. Sometimes legends are born out of such adversity...
  16. I think we have to pump the brakes before we anoint him the next Verlander. He looked amazing and no doubt is going to be good but it is still just one start and it was the Rays. Sounds like the Jays are planning to give him further starts, likely when the division is locked up. That said I wouldn't mind the Jays taking a shot and giving him a start in the playoffs against the Yankees/Bosox. A guy they have never seen before and with his delivery could mystify them.
  17. Looks like my $400M estimate may have been a tad low... "Tucker is expected to be the highest paid free agent in this class. Most analysts believe he will get somewhere between $500 million and $650 million based on the recent contracts of Vladimir Guerrero Jr. with the Blue Jays ($500 million) and Juan Soto with the Mets ($765 million). Tucker can impact a game in so many ways with his five tools: hitting, power, defense, arm strength and speed. He has made four straight All-Star teams and is putting together another strong season, batting .265/.377/.457 with 18 homers and 24 steals in 26 attempts. The Cubs would love to retain him, but the open market will determine where he’ll land and he’ll be the biggest prize in free agency." https://www.sportingnews.com/us/mlb/chicago-cubs/news/cubs-kyle-tucker-650-million-contract-update-no-1-free-agent/4a4719de8597ed0015b970be
  18. Tucker will be looking for a career finishing contract (7 years+). Bo may accept a pillow contract if his knee is still suspect. Either way Tucker will be looking for a big payday. ~ 350-400 big ones.
  19. I don't get that impression. I think there is a real fear from Bo's camp that playing on a wonky knee may inflict further damage and thus jeopardize his free agent marketability. The second opinion in Dallas is likely to confirm that if he plays (dh) it won't do further damage. That is how I perceive what's going on. Who knows?
  20. Tucker is going to cost a bundle. Would get more money than Bo at this point.
