The bottom line is that someone has to sit Vladdy down and give him the facts of life re mlb. He isn't going to outstrip the competition like he has for the last ten years by virtue of his natural gifts. Heavy guys carrying extra weight is murder on the knees and could truncate his career. Question is who will do the dirty deed and tell him the facts of life? Perhaps his old man? Vladdy Sr. certainly had a much more athletic physique in his day. The way he is now, he will never realize his true potential. -
