    It has happened once previously in the past decade. Coupled with the scoreboard confusion, it has never happened in the history of the game. That is a fair stretch from "baseball stuff we see all the time".

    Put up over 11 WAR between 2023-25 while providing Gold glove defense. Also known to be a great teammate. You cant understand why people liked having him around?

    The scoreboard is controlled by mlb not the Blue Jays. Adding to the confusion.

    You are missing John Schneider's point about not been given the opportunity to appeal. The home plate ump did NOT signal that the player from home scored as he crossed the plate. If the umpire would have signalled that a run scored (which is his job) then the Jays would naturally appeal. They were denied that because the ump didn't perform his function.

    Jays claim several players were asking for an appeal but the umps waved off the run and instructed them to go to the dugout and that they would discuss. Ostensibly denying the opportunity to appeal.

    How is doubling off the runner at first base throwing to the wrong base? Also the runner at third base did not tag up yet the run still counted. You dont see why this would cause confusion?

    Didn't realize Mcadoo was raking in the international league. Good for him. Hope the Jays give him a fair look.
