  1. Come on Richards, enough of the free passes.
  2. What a road trip. You're hitting some really nice parks.
  3. YRod is listed as six feet tall but he looks like he's 6'5" on the mound. Maybe the camera angle at this park?
  4. That prick on the left. We can blame the leak on Atkins.
  5. YRod looks like a ten year veteran out there. A year from now he could our best starter.
  6. KK handling being put on waivers like a pro.
  7. I like the umpire and catcher gave him time for the helmet tip.
  8. Or he could implode and completely lose his confidence. After the trade deadline the jays should get aggressive with their call ups. I wouldn't mind seeing Chad Dallas or Adam Macko. We're at the point where the high floor low ceiling guys are what this team is about.
  9. Nothing you already didn't know but, meh, give it a listen cause Shulman is so even keel..
  10. My conclusions are based on his body of work this season and his aloof attitude on the field and the plate. Then this interview where he says, "for me first and foremost I want to win. That would be the number one priority for me if I was choosing a team and the Giants obviously are committed to that". He isn't going to choose TO it seems, so by implication the Jays don't want to win. Kind of a sideways shot at the Jays from my perspective.
  11. Ho-hum, another series win! bring on Moreno and his noodle bat.
  12. Jansen can't throw out a runner to save his life.
  13. He is sort of like an out of control employee at this point. Wtf is he doing saying to a reporter that San Fran would be a good org to play for. This is a power play on his part. He is sulking.
  14. Perhaps the Jays made him an offer before the season and he was insulted by it? Don't think he is actively trying not to perform but his body language on the field and especially at the plate is one of apathy. Part of management is to keep your human resources interested and involved. Yet another failure of the Shapiro regime.
  15. I wonder if the Jays are behind in terms of rejuvenation regimens with pitchers coming back off of injuries? Once we get a minor league pitcher suffer any type of physical setback they seem to take an extended time to get "right" again. There is such a thing as chronic workload versus acute workload for pitchers. The Jays seem to be of the mindset whereby they don't spend enough time on chronic workload, rush the prospect up through the system and then subject them to an acute workload. See Alek Manoah. Now this is conjecture on my part but I don't have a lot a faith in the strength and conditioning practices of this org. Like the other aspects of our development system, we're probably behind the curve on this too. Take a look at this piece written by a minor leaguer a few years ago. Very interesting stuff... https://ballnine.com/2021/03/23/dont-stress-the-stress/
  16. Bo hobbled with a bad calf again will put an end to his trade rumours. I suppose the next window to move him will be the off-season. Atkins may just wait until trade deadline 2025 hoping for a resurgent Bo. Instead he will move an expiring contract Bo and may get fleeced with a third round pick in return. What a mess.
  17. Let's Go Jays!
