    Thanks for asking. Yes he ended up fully recovered after therapy for the year. GBS is very rare and causes are not known for sure. No lingering issues.

    Guillain-Barre Syndrome is terrible. My son got it at the age of twelve. Just started to lose his balance and started falling down. Went to emerg and the pediatrician said you have to get him downtown to Sick Kids hospital right now. Checked into Sick Kids that night and a day later in the hospital and he was paralyzed from the neck down. Can't take solid foods and had to be fed by a tube, on a ventilator, tubes, the whole thing. Wife and I took turns at the hospital in twelve hour shifts. While I was at his bedside my father died and I didn't have a chance to see him before he passed. 2012 was a hell of a year for me. Took about a year before my son recovered. Being young is an advantage for Freeman's son. Those who contract GBS as adults sometimes never recover. Wouldn't wish it on anybody. I am grateful to the staff of Sick Kids for everything they did for my son. I'm not the type to post personal stuff but Freeman's situation kind of hit home. Wish him the best.

    Pillar retiring after this season. He put in his ten and didn't take too many days off. Pretty good career considering his low ceiling.

    For all of their supposed pre game planning they can't seem to get out of their own way. I doubt Schneider would want to hit him that high in the order. Khakis are unstoppable.

    We're paying Springer $25M per annum and it barely gets a whisper around here and now you get your panties in a twist with $30M per for Vladdy. It is just the cost of doing business in 2024. Get over it.

    The Bo hate is strong in here. Some of it irrational. He will bounce back next year and up his value for a trade and be gone soon enough.

    Yeah they better not f it up. Houston rushed him up and he got rocked. We're in no hurry, the season is done. Ride it out and give the guy a chance at true development.
