    Hes more athletic. Bautista just can't catch fly balls. They can split time at first that would be awesome. As long as our OF defense becomes better. Its hard to have 2 butchers in the OF everynight.

    Leave Sanchez alone. Maybe stop letting him go 8 innings when he doesn't need to will help. If you can add a starter I would hope it would be to replace Dickey. And Dickey can spot start to take unnecessary wear and tear off Sanchez. But the starter they get better be someone you can start in the post season otherwise it's pointless. Seeing what Cashner cost today. That's not going to happen. No way the Jays are paying that much for a rental.

    What happened to Oakland having no problem offering him the qualifying offer unless they get blown away. Jays are looking for value not overpayment.

    I actually wouldn't be shocked if it dropped or stayed around where it is now. If they let Jose and Edwin walk they will probably look at platoon options to replace them. Those are the best value on the market.

    Yup and I wonder if people know this but Bautista takes ground balls on the infield everyday at both First and Third. He says it keeps him prepared and sharp. So Gibbons can't really use the he didn't get any reps excuse. I doubt Junior Lake got any reps at 1B when he came in. And if you're healthy enough to play RF you're healthy enough to play 1B.
