    I don't have a link handy but the story adds up when you see most if not all the Sportsnet people calling them The Cleveland's on twitter.

    Actually he went through the entire NL without being claimed. They probably never had interest in keeping him on the MLB roster. The plan was likely always trying to get him to Buffalo. I thought they would send Barnes down. So I'm glad they didn't.

    I'm sure the broadcast team will still call them the Indians. But it's being discouraged and have been told just to refer to them as Cleveland as much as possible.

    Apparently the entire Sportsnet crew is calling them the Cleveland's instead of the Indians.

    They might get him through waivers. He did go through the NL last time.

    Sounds like one to be honest. If the intention was to disrespect a people. Naming your Baseball team after them isn't a great way to do it. If anything it's empowering and makes them appear strong. The intention was never to offend. Now apparently it is. There names and traditions have been around for so long. Shouldn't have to change them or made out to be racists because a collection of people don't like it. I'm fine with the Redskins team name. But I can understand why people want it changed. It doesn't appear it was happen in the current owners lifetime. And even with all the protests and scrutiny they have faced. An equal and even greater number of Washington Redskins fans have tried to save the name. It's likely that if they do change the name it will only be to the Braves. The original name of the franchise when it was Boston.

    Its May 9th and even in the event he makes the All-Star team that should not change the fact that Kiermaier is the better defender. I love Pillar but Kiermaier is out of this world.
