  1. I don't understand the obsession with making Biagini a starter. And I really hope they don't go into next season without adding a capable starter.
  2. If I was living as a vegetable with no hopes to recover I wouldn't want to be a burden on anyone. This is a really sad story. Terrible actually.
  3. Well now with both Cutch and Longoria they will be actually fun to watch now?
  4. Cobb would be great but with compensation attached to him I don't see it happening. Would prefer him over Lynn tho.
  5. I thought he chased way more in 2017. And the numbers do bare that. He still walked quite a bit but some of the pitches he use to lay off he was flailing at badly. I might buy into his swing adjustments to be honest. A team might score big time signing him cheap.
  6. I would rather get a starter. I don't think they are going to spend that 15M anyway. Continue to look at low cost adds.
  7. Or trade Pillar play Cain in CF and have Teoscar Hernandez play RF.
  8. Probably the best sentence I have read in 2018 so far and it's going to be hard to top that.
  9. Was she at least hot? Or did she have a dog in her twitter pic to confirm shes not hot?
  10. I agree. The most exciting thing about next season is potentially seeing the debut of Vlad Jr. I have zero expectations. They are going to go really young after the Donaldson mid season trade.
  11. Well he should have been non tendered and definitely should be cut now. Granderson/Pearce platoon in LF. Doesn't really have a spot outside of AAA depth which would have made sense on a minor league deal.
  12. Isn't there a rule if you release him by a certain time he doesn't get that arbitration salary. Like what the White Sox did with Brett Lawrie or did I make this up in my head.
  13. Yea not exactly the impact Outfielder but at least maybe Zeke can f*** off now and Granderson can be flipped at the deadline.
  14. Well if the Pirates couldn't get premium prospects for 2 years of Gerrit Cole. They weren't going to get much of anything for Andrew McCutchen. Those are just embarrassing returns. And it massively effects the trade market when teams aren't cashing in on premium players.
  15. The more and more I think about it. I think Washington is going to do everything possible to keep Bryce Harper and meet his ridiculous demands. I actually would not be surprised to see Harper stay in Washington. If he gets the money he wants he has no reason to leave. Washington is positioned well to dominate the NL East for at least another few seasons.
  16. I know people who don't want to get games because they are afraid balls will be hit at them. Its pretty silly but legit where I sit I have seen people get f***ed up. Whether it was breaking hands trying to catch the ball or those nasty bounces that catch people in the face. If nothing else it creates peace of mind. The netting has got beter especially at hockey games where it doesn't ruin the sight lines as much as people think it does. If people are really that concerned they can sit above the netting.
  17. I would have much rather have signed Kendrick to something like that than gave up a decent prospect for Solarte. Kendrick is really nice.
  18. It's definitely going to take some getting use to. But kinda knew it was coming and people really shouldn't feel in danger when they go to a Baseball game.
  19. f***ing Pirates. At least hes not a Yankee.
  20. Congratulations Ang! Future Blue Jay!
  21. When you have team control you can't penalise the player for suffering a freak injury. His projected value remains in arbitration. If he was a UFA he would have been penalised for not pitching most of this year.
  22. That run he went on was ridiculous. Seems like he hit one out every at-bat.
  23. Spanks we were talking about Morales. Try to keep up bud!
  24. 2017 was the first time Donaldson played under 155 games in a season since he became a regular lol. I’m worried about his legs long term but calling him injury prone is borderline retarded.
  25. We feel nothing for the Orioles here.
