    I’m actually a little surprised the Braves made this move now. Hes hit better over the last 7 days but you would think they would wait until he had some sustained success. I guess they have some pressure to put some asses in the seats. And the fan base was pissed he didn’t make the opening day roster.

    Was Gibby not impressed by the lazer beams LGJ was hitting at Yankee Stadium. Both Diaz and Travis below the mlb average exit velocity and both scuffling at the plate. Especially Travis.

    That Thursday is giveaway day. Going to be tons of people to watch Sale carve us up. Miracles do happen though. I just don't have a ton of confidence in Estrada right now especially with the lingering back issues.

    I don't understand why hes still in AAA. Rays are clearly tanking the season. If I was his agent I would foaming at the mouth. He should have debuted last year.

    He still has the profile of a guy who can move fast and catch up and possibly surpass his age group. I am looking forward to seeing the raw above average power if it develops. If it does we have something.

    Hes missing tons of bats. If he shows he can throw strikes good chance we see him this year. His numbers are crazy good since advancing to Dunedin

    They may feel fine with Solarte playing SS in a pinch that's problem. Hes already made one start. Travis got off to an awful start last year and was incredible in May. Its hard to imagine them pulling the plug on him but it might actually be the best thing for everyone.

    I'm actually kind of intrigued by Ryan Noda. Obviously you love the walks and base running but he is already use to playing 3 positions and well. And there is some raw power to come that hasn't been displayed in games yet. Another guy that I'm keeping my eye on that never get mentioned because hes a reliever is Zach Jackson. Only 23 in Double-A striking out guys at a higher rate as he climbs the system. Some command issues at times but hes throwing mid 90's fastballs touching 97. He's only allowed 2 homeruns in pro ball career. Both at Lansing no homeruns allowed at High A, and AA so far. From a bio last year: Jackson's best pitch is a hammer three-quarters breaking ball with curveball break and slider velocity in the low 90s. He usually operates at 93-95 mph with his fastball and can hit 97, though it can get straight at times. Jackson doesn't need a changeup much as a reliever, but he has shown some aptitude for throwing one.

    I hope its Travis he needs to work on both sides of the ball. Find Jesus whatever he has to do. LGJ looked excellent in his 3 game stint. Could have easily had a couple more hits. The one he hit at Stanton is gone if he got more air under it.

    Devers made the most seamless transition to the big leagues ever. He just slid and no problem and was an above average regular. I hope its that easy for Vlad.
