We really don't need a complete a tear down as Boxy said. We have a team that should compete for a wild card spot and host of very good prospects on the cusp of making an impact. We have depth at all levels now. And Double-A is stacked. We are in really good shape. Realistically a tear down for us would be trading Donaldson and Happ and players under control for a number of years like Stroman. That just doesn't really make sense right now.
I think Shapiro is thrilled with where the team is at right now all things considered. The attendance doesn't worry me if the team is competitive the numbers will be great by June at the latest. The season started early, they are competing with the Raptors and Leafs. And the weather has been miserable. Even with the Dome the weather prevents you from wanting to do things around the city.
