    I saw that Vlad Jr was the second most added player in yahoo fantasy baseball today and had a mini stroke. Got baited into thinking he got called up.

    What hes doing is incredible. They wanted him in a multi inning role. And with the injury to Knebel they may as well just use him to finish the last 2 innings of games. Hes a beast. Hes basically doing what Andrew Miller did in the playoffs a few years ago.

    Extension sounds good. But making the move for Vlad right now doesn't make any sense. Maybe if were competitive by August you consider making that move. But I also believe they have zero interest in a 19 year old coming up to DH everyday. They value developing him defensively. Let him continue to destroy Double-A pitching for the time being.

    I was so close to adding Kingham in fantasy added Gausman instead. I got what I deserved for adding an Oriole although Gausman wasn’t awful.
