    Hard to picture him getting more than 3 years in the off-season. That might line up perfectly for the Jays. Hes not getting a 5-year deal bringing him through his age 38 season. But he will be shooting for the moon. So I expect his free agency will drag on possibly into Spring Training.

    I would have liked to seen Solarte maybe lead off or maybe hit second because of how well he has done getting on base this season. But hopefully Teo is energised tonight and can give this lineup a spark. Most importantly we need Stroman to pitch well tonight because he was awful in Texas. That was the worst I have ever seen him pitch. He had no command whatsoever.

    If we can steal this one tonight have to feel we have a chance to win this series against Tomlin. Kluber is going to unmercifully dominate us tomorrow though. 12-15 K's easy. I hope we don't put both Grich and Teo in the lineup for that game. Actually I hope they do I own Kluber in my fantasy league.

    Retroactive to the 11th so he can be activated in game 3 of our 4 game series at Yankees Stadium on the 21st. Have to believe he won't be out much longer than that. Giving his shoulder 10 days to heal than will come back to at least DH.

    Excellent chance Solarte and Pearce are our 3 and 4 hitters tonight. They were both on the bench opening day.

    I would be interested to see if Ohtani actually gets to play some RF this year. If the Angels are competing and hes hitting well you have to believe he will be in the lineup everyday hes not pitching.

    So Axford DFA'd or Mayza being sent back down. Mayza hasn't pitched in 2 weeks. Dude needs work in the worst way. I don't think they would option Gift with Donaldson so wonky. Maybe Grich is hurt who the f*** even knows lol. Will find out.

    I wonder what the roster move will be. I really hope its not Donaldson going on the DL.

    I think he could have easily avoided last nights disgraceful lineup simply by putting Martin at third. Apparently Donaldson was completely unavailable last night otherwise he would of pinch hit. Gift really shouldn't be starting any game especially at second base. I'm fine with playing Martin and Travis 2 days on and 1 day off. But it can't be at the same time anymore.

    Maile looks really athletic behind the plate as well. Tons of confidence hes blocking those balls in the dirt. But he is not better than Martin.
