    Dodgers have an amazing in game DJ and sound effects. Why aren’t they utilizing that instead of this eerie mess. Dodger games use to be hype.

    Maybe doing it with the players that aren’t in the game. Give them guidelines like they can’t curse or whatever. Just have some interesting conversations about what’s going on. Way better than the empty stadium emptiness and fame crowd noise. I see the potential of seeing players personalities in a different and unique way.

    I still think Baseball is missing a great opurtunity to do the thing WWE is doing. Where they have the Wrestlers in the seats all miced up and acting like hype men during matches. Mic up the players and have them talk trash or talk the game.

    How do people still not know that the NHL Teams aren’t traveling back and fourth between the US and Canada lol. The Western Conference is going to Edmonton and The Eastern Conference is going to Toronto. The only time they are traveling is for the Finals and that’s several months away. And one team will be traveling to Edmonton or Toronto. I’m assuming they will do the Stanley Cup in Toronto. Completely different situation than Baseball. MLS teams will probably have to stay in the US for whatever return to play scenario they have. I don’t know I don’t follow that league. Its not good Football.

    I will agree that the Rogers Centre is much better when the roof is open. So much so that I only go to games when the roof is open. But Baseball should be played in an open air stadium. If they want to slap some kind of retractable roof like Milwaukee has fine but no reason why you can’t have an open air stadium built for Baseball in Downtown Toronto. If you can have one in Minnesota you can have one here.

    As long as this a complete one off everyone should be happy about this. Probably lit a fire under a lot of players today knowing they have an increased chance at making the playoffs. Purists need not apply because this is anything but a traditional season. Also they can suck my cock. More Baseball = Better.

    The more I look into it the Omaha option sounds really appealing. Geography might be the issue there though. If we had more time they may have been able to temporarily realign the divisions putting us in the NL Central and the Pirates in the AL East. But yea the stadium in Omaha looks incredible. Extremely low amount of Covid cases. And they host the Creighton Blue Jays along with the College World Series. Its crazy that we still have no idea what they are going to do.

    I see what you’re saying. The conditions would have to be complete one off for me. This year they are making an exception that’s all. I don’t want to see that 2021 or behind either. I think the current playoff structure is fine. The only thing I would really change trying to even the playing field because some divisions are just stacked compared to others. That opens up a whole other can of worms with a traveling schedule though.

    I mean the way I see it... more Baseball. And its not like whoever wins the World Series this year is going to be remembered as a true champion anyway.

    They have a pretty good built in excuse. He only threw 63 pitches. Could easily say rhey want him to get up to 80-85 pitches in a simulated game to get built up for his major league debut
