Alford going deep is a shocking development to say the least.
-
Think of how much the game would change for catchers as well. They no longer have to worry about framing. They can just catch the ball and doesn’t matter how they catch it or box it up because it has no barring effect. Would see a completely different approach. It could change the running game because catchers could just catch pitches standing up.

The s***** part is Shoemaker could have thrown 6 or 7 innings easily. Now we probably have to see a s*** pitcher in a tie game because Montoyo used all of our good relievers in Game 1.
-
That pitch by Shoemaker probably wasn’t a strike but considering how awful and big the strike zone was it wasn’t consistent for Shoemaker. Biggio had pitches called on him that were at his shoulders.

General 2020 Blue Jays Discussion Thread

If that’s the case. They should seriously just punt this season. Just get the highest draft pick possible because this team doesn’t have a chance of winning without Bo. Sadly we don’t even have any veterans with trade value. Possibly Shoemaker if he gets rolling. Probably should keep Shaw because he has another cheap year of control. -
Fire Charlie Montoyo - The thread worked guys!

If the Marlins had a fan forum I would be shocked. Pretty sure nobody in Miami gives a f*** about that team. I have a friend who lives down there who actually likes Baseball and could name everyone on the Miami Hurricanes but doesn’t know s*** about the Marlins. That is a College sports town through and through. -
Yup... Pretty sure ESPN can block late night games from starting so they don’t overlap with Sunday Night Baseball.
-
Never trust weather apps. Yesterday my weather app said it was clear skies while it was raining yesterday in Buffalo. They are actually predicting rain today so you won’t see a drop of it.
-
So Shaw was available the entire f***ing time. Montoyo is actually brain dead. For the people believe Managers have little to no effect on outcome of games have never seen this guy manage. Charlie Montoyo has made it his mission to have his finger prints all over losses.
-
This manager. I just can’t.
-
If Montoyo’s reasoning for not using Shaw had anything to do with not wanting to remove Drury because of his defence I’m going to lose my mind. We needed a fly ball there or better. I also thought this was a 7 inning game. You still make that move 10 out of 10 times.
-
I think we’re starting to see what the Blue Jays scouts saw in Dolis. Up to 97 mph with movement in that inning.
-
Intentional walk to Diaz was incredibly stupid. Just challenge him. Set up this entire inning.
-
Better use Sebastian Shaw here
-
People get to get fickle about minor slumps. If only players could never slump *rollseyes*
-
Thanks for the gift Meadows.
-
The sad part is he shouldn’t have been thinking about home at all. Not a chance Diaz was scoring with a routine relay executed.
-
How did they f*** up that relay.
-
Adding one of the worst OPS+ hitters in baseball in place for one of the best. Really kills your boner on a Sunday afternoon.

Imagine drinking Alcohol in 2020. Kale Smoothies or miss me with that s***.

Margot is one ugly looking Human. That weird beard isn’t helping either.

Buck confirms that we do infact have a Pitcher on the mound. So that’s good.
-
We taking all three BB.

Makes up for those line drives he stung at gloves.
