    Padres are over spending on every deal it doesn’t mean every team will. This is just a prime of example of how important it is to build a great farm system. Not only for cycling in new talent regularly but being able to make trades like this without feeling your entire future is mortgaged.

    Josh Naylor recently transformed his body. He was fatter than Vlad and now he’s thin and looks athletic. That adjustment period would be extreme getting use to. Still has some intrigue for me. Quantril is probably going to be a good reliever for years like his father. Bust as a Starter but many do. Maybe Cleveland can fix him though.

    If that was the return I would be pissed. Jays could have easily topped that.

    Honestly I expected a lot of action. This really is a golden opurtunity to jump in and try to win a World Series under these weird circumstances. Its wide open and anything can happen. Best teams could be knocked out of the playoffs in 2 days.

    Trout probably shouldn’t wait much longer to ask for a trade. Probably give the Angels one more full season to put a competent pitching staff together. If they don’t request a trade that following off-season.

    Vlad was probably between 280-290 during the start of the season. Might be in the 265-275 range now. I think we should be thrilled if Vlad is ever in the 250 range again.

    That’s where having Joe Panik as your SS kills you. He doesn’t have the arm strength to make up for bad reads either.

    I don’t think Biggio saw one of those pitches. These 3pm starts f***ing suck.

    The problem is he went home and gained 40 pounds during the Pandemic. I said full time commitment lol.

    Seems like they can get Vlad to lose weight when he’s around the team. Problem is when he goes home. He’s going to have to make that commitment full time in the off-season. He just needs to learn his body. He can eat all those Dominican dishes its all about meal planning.

    I mean they hit for the Cycle in 4 batters. Who saw that coming. I’m just so use to them being terrible and all of a sudden rocked everything.

    I wasn’t a huge fan of Roark coming back out just because hes prone fo have bad things happen quickly but Kay isn’t looking much better.
