    No. You play out this season let him have a big year hopefully. If the Jays are out of it you trade him at the deadline or if were still in it you give him the qualifying offer. Bo is your second baseman next year and you look for a glove first Shortstop next year to stabilize the defense. Groshans might impact 3B as early as next year as well. I don’t think Austin Martin is going to play any infield in the big leagues. Biggio can finally become the super utillity player.

    Maybe if he tucked in his hands and knees and tried to roll to first base like a bowling ball he would get there faster.

    It took so long for that decision to be made. I wonder if the other coaches in the dugout have to poke Montoyo with stick to remind him to do something.

    This Palacios dude looks like he weighs 140 pounds.

    Zeuch was so unappealing as prospect I just assumed he was a soft tossing lefty based on his minor league stats. Turns out he’s just a tall right-hander with average stuff across the board. No ability to produce swings and misses. Doesn’t have the command to work to the corners.

    Panik is hitting the ball about as hard as he can now. Maybe if he played for the Angels BABIP would be kinder to him.

    Why would even go to second base. The only play was to first after the bobble.

    Zeuch is not enjoyable to watch. Just no ability to get swings and misses. He’s already back at the top of the order which they wanted him to avoid lol. Amazingly he hasn’t gave any runs up yet.

    That changeup for strike one called probably missed the plate by a foot and was low lol. Terrible AB for Gurriel but that doesn’t help.

    What I don’t understand about the vaccine rollout is how is my 65 year old Dad whose diabetic and works full time isn’t eligible for the vaccine. That s*** is backwards.

    He was not really extended. They just guarenteed his contract next year not to make him a lame duck manager. They did the same thing with John Gibbons. He absolutely still could get fired and honestly those conversations should be happening now. Manager of the year means nothing. We snuck into the gimmick post season in less than half a season. Mickey Mouse season is you will. It doesn’t mean anything.

    I can’t wait until we get a real manager. This guy was suppose to be here to absorb the rebuild nothing more. Unfortunately he might only get fired it the team severely under performs.
