Size has nothing to do it. Its all about how you train your body. There’s Litterally 285 pound body builders that do crossfit. Which is an injury risk for the s*** they try to do lol.

Bunting for a base hit against a tough pitcher with a full open side cool. Bunting to advance runners. Especially when they are already in scoring position = Bad

If you strech everyday and your body is use to movement doing the splits is not an injury risk. If you or I were to bust out the splits right now it probably wouldn’t go well. There’s Litterally professions where people do things more strenuous than the splits everyday. Litterally their livelihood.
