    It really sucks punting games like this. Texas is a AAA team + Joey Gallo. Gotta sweep these teams.

    I don’t think pitching on regular rest is an injury risk but ok. I just don’t know why you trot out guys like Roark when he could been easily skipped.

    I don’t know why they put Wilner on the air for as long as they did. That guy was horrendous at his job. He was always angry at the world for no apparent reason. Being fat and ugly might have had a lot to do with that but he seemed genuinely unpleasant to be around.

    Cole is on the bump tonight. Forgot about the day off. Why didn’t we just start Ryu and not bother trotting out Roark at all

    Knowing that Tommy Millone is next after Roark doesn’t exactly excite me.

    He wouldn’t have been in the rotation if Ray or Pearson would have been healthy. I don’t think hes here just because he makes $12 million. The Blue Jays have shown a willingness to just eat money. Including Shun Yamaguchi most recently. They are genuinely hoping he can eat innings. They might keep him for mop up duties if he proves somewhat reliable.

    I’m actually shocked we are still rostering Roark after last season. He clearly has nothing left and that body hes not working that hard to regain any of that form lol.

    Dolis got a lot better last year so hoping once he can locate the split he gets more confident and pitches faster. He was really good down the strech.

    This dude is going to burn out the bullpen by June. Even in a game his starter pitched into the 7th he’s still going to use 4 pitchers.

    Yup there’s Romano up now. He’s going to pitch tonight and be unavailable for the one run game tomorrow.

    I see no reason why Matz couldn’t have finished that inning with a 5 run lead. Especially considering he struck out all the Rangers best hitters in a row.

    When’s the last time we have seen a Blue Jays starter have 10 or more K’s? We can’t have seen one during the Montoyo era.
