No but in a perfect world you get more from Richards. Could all be moot if the Jays put them away here.

Just saying he could have easily kept Richards in longer. And using Romano for the 8th and Mayza in the 9th would have been an excellent plan.

I would imagine he plans to use Dyson defensively for Gurriel. And Gurriel is very likely to get another at-bat today

Or he could have used Romano for the 8th. Who cares who finishes the game. Your best reliever needs to face the best hitters in the lineup. Doesn’t matter if its in the 8th or the 9th.

I just don’t know why Cleveland would trade Jose Ramirez. They just need to get some of their pitching healthy and they could compete in that division as early as next season.
