Walking is enough cardio for most people. 12k steps is great goal. If you have a job that requires you to be on your feet this shouldn’t be difficult goal to achieve. Most importantly you just need to get moving daily. Get your heart rate elevated for a good 15-20 mins. Which can be done with a well paced walk.
