  5. Walking is enough cardio for most people. 12k steps is great goal. If you have a job that requires you to be on your feet this shouldn’t be difficult goal to achieve. Most importantly you just need to get moving daily. Get your heart rate elevated for a good 15-20 mins. Which can be done with a well paced walk. If you don’t like running or jogging now you’re never going to like it lol. It will absolutely help you shed body fat but it won’t do anything for you unless your diet is really good. And the most effective way to burn fat will always be putting on more muscle. Muscle is the ultimate fat burner. The more muscle you have the more calories you burn as well. Even when resting.

  7. You can convert that fat to muscle with hard work. Its actually difficult for a lot of people to put on size and weight. You already have it. You just need to build it back up as muscle instead of fat. But people that go to the gym get frustrated when they don’t see results after a month. If you stay consistent with a full body lifting program and you stay in small calorie deficit you will see fantastic results at the 3-5 month range. And good diet enhances this progress. Cut out the s***** carbs. Eat a lot more protein. 0.8g per 1 pound of body weight. The most important thing is to never starve yourself. If you want to lose weight. You need to eat more not less. Eat more and more often. But make better eating choices. You can absolutely eat takeout a couple times a week and drink if you maintain a healthy diet. Its actually good for your body and your mind to throw it curveballs. Had to fit in a Baseball reference lol.

But people who easily put on fat actually have an advantage in the gym if they apply themselves. At the end of the day its his choice. Personally if I was a professional athlete I would want to maximize my career.
