I don’t even feel stressed about the game yet. I’m still in disbelief about last night. Going to be a weird game. We went from not putting Max on the ALDS roster because his September struggles. To using him in Game 7 of the World Series. In reality might be as crazy as using Yesavage in the playoffs. So hopefully it just all works out. No idea what to expect from Shohei on short rest.

So Ohtani on short rest obviously starts. Snell is in play. Guess they will use Glasnow considering he would have been lined up to start Game 7 and only threw 3 pitches tonight. Are they hesitant to go back to Sasaki in a big spot despite not actually blowing it? Going to be a very bizarre game. Obviously Max has to give you a strong effort. But you would have to think Trey Yesavage plays a key role in this game. Where does Bieber fit in because he’s not a stuff guy and he’s still coming back from Tommy John so is using him on short rest even viable. I feel like it would make more sense to start him over Max if he’s going to go. Absolutely sucks it got here. I still can’t believe that 9th inning.

I think if I’m John Scheneider tomorrow I gotta make a lineup adjustment to make sure I stack the top of the lineup with my best and hottest hitters. Either Springer Barger Vladdy Bo or Springer Vladdy Barger Bo I’m not saying Lukes deserves to get demoted but you need to give your best bats and power bats the most at-bats tomorrow. We almost ran into a scenario tonight where they probably walk Springer and face Lukes with the bases loaded had Barger not have been picked off. If you have Barger or Vlad hitting second it’s tougher to make that decision. Just some thoughts. I’m still shell shocked over what happen. Everything was set up and then it was just over. Quickest 3 outs I have ever seen.

I would really like to know what Barger is thinking in that situation. Did he think that would drop or did he not know where the Outfielder was. He obviously wants to score on any hit but he should have recognized it would have been impossible to score on that ball based on where it was hit and how shallow Kike was. I think they intentionally walk Springer or atleast pitched around him and would have brought Lukes up with the bases loaded.

I mean his run was the tying run. But he can't be caught that far off the base.
