    He’s under contract for 3 more years. And he’s passable in Left. He is safe to be be rotated through DH and LF. Maybe potentially 1B but hes not as comfortable there.

    Its crazy how much talent the Astros have lost over the past few years and still be able to do this. Lost Springer and Correa in consecutive off-seasons. Pretty wild

    I think you ride out Vlad’s arbitration years and see how that body looks to me. I want a commitment to the body before I see a commitment of years. He has all the resources to get in shape.

    I believe the best of Danny Jansen is still to come. And all the stats and analytics posted above illustrates that perfectly.

    There was legit rumours suggesting the Jays were very interested and in on him until the end but Philly set the market on him. Feel we could have rotated him between LF, 1B, and DH. Hes definitely not a good Defender but he plays a passable LF. He’s actually probably a better Outfielder than 1B. Just having the Lefty bat with that kind of Power and discipline. Springer and Schwarber coming out at you right out of the gates screams intimidation.

    Dusy Baker has been horrendous in this series but its 2-2.

    I don’t think this series is going back to Houston. This is prime set up for Philly having 3 straight home games. Just a completely different atmosphere

    Nobody is a Jansen fan boy lol. People are just thinking logically. At the end of the day its opinion. Ross Atkins is the GM he gets to weigh the value of trading each of them and decide what 2 Catchers he ultimately wants to roll with.

    I never liked the 2-3-2 format. Really puts the lower seat in the drivers seat if they steal a game on the road.

    Valdez stumbled slightly but absolutely blows Realmuto away and gets a quick couple outs to end any Phillies hope. That’s elite starting pitching.

    Diaz should be released for that sequence of events. Embarrassingly sticks out his arm and gets called back after a HBP. For some reason swings at a 3-0 breaking ball. Only to roll over ground out lol.

    Well I said the Phillies aren't getting anything off the Astros Bullpen. Technically that was a Starter lol. Its weird to me how commonly Starters have been used in these playoffs and I wouldn't say its been overly successful.
