  1. I enjoy this line of thinking.
  2. I have no problem with this. If you have a chance to make life changing money you take it. You don’t get rewarded enough for being a good person in life. He would have what shook Judge’s hand. Get a picture of him and go back to his mediocre life and never be heard from again. When you have a chance to change your life you take it. Money is the majority of peoples stress.
  3. Yea but who gives a f*** about what makes sense for the Pirates. They have been doing dumb s*** forever.
  4. You know what. We need to start having this conversation. It’s becoming a lot more common that failed position players transition to Pitching because they can’t hit. For the ones that are still good Defensively why can’t they still play Defense when they aren’t pitching. Someone like Anthony Gose should stiill be absolutely be playing the Outfield as a Defensive sub. Why can’t this be a thing. Most pitchers shag fly balls and some of them even take infield. They are limiting versatility!
  5. Because I don’t think Moreno can play CF or hit for the power Reynolds can. Plus he’s a switch hitter.
  6. I’m not disagreeing but its why Kirk doesn’t make sense. Moreno could be easily moved position wise would be very intriguing for them. Hell the Blue Jays basically showcased his versatility at the end of the season.
  7. Stop wasting roster spots on Catchers period. Just promote Hagen Danner. He can catch when he’s not pitching. When he’s pitching just have one of the extra players do it. Problem solved.
  8. Moreno ++. Unfortunately the Pirates took a Catcher first overall so trading for a Catcher/DH like Kirk for them would probably be stupid. Reynolds still under control until 2026. It would take a s*** ton to pull him away.
  9. No you’re both just speaking in logic. Nobody likes this trade in a vacuum lol. Anyone who tells you otherwise is f***ing lying lol. It’s what this trade will ultimately lead to is what intrigues people. A huge domino can fall now because of this scenario playing out. The flexibility has been created now we sit back and watch it unfold.
  10. If there isn’t a substantial piece added to the Outfield there’s going to be tons of questions. We’re very much all in wait and see mode. I feel we had Outfield concerns before this trade. We certainly have a major hole now. Could we live with another year of Lourdes in LF probably but he really wasn’t very good this season and I don’t think Springer should be playing CF full time anymore.
  11. I mean he’s better looking than Colby Rasmus but he looks like a thumb with a GI-Joe body. And at the very least Rasmus hit Left-Handed.
  12. Adley Rutschman.
  13. Tyler O'Neill is like Randal Grichuk with more speed and substantially less good looking. Don’t even know why we are talking about him. We definitely wouldn’t be if he wasn’t Canadian. I heard the word used this off-season by the Jays wanting to diversify the lineup more. We would literally be adding what we just shed to probably do a worse job lol
  14. You guys are right but if he’s available like it’s rumoured that he is. You gotta presume that. That’s impact bat at a premium position.
  15. Honestly I don’t. I would not do O'Neill for Jansen 1 for 1 no f***ing shot. I don’t believe O’Neal will ever touch his career season. I actually don’t think he will half it again.
  16. Good I feared someone from our idiot media would vote Manoah or something. I can’t believe that idiot Ben Nicholson-Smith absolutely robbed J-Rod of unanimous voting. So embarrassed about that.
  17. I think I would take a polar plunge into Lake Ontario if that is the trade they made. I would like to see them make a bigger splash. A big fish like Bryan Reynolds. Which would probably start with Kirk and one of our better prospects along with some secondary pieces.
  18. I think that was Atkins first move as Jays GM. He traded several years of control in Hendriks for one year of control in Jesse Chavez. Pretty terrible trade. Both in hindsight and at the time.
  19. They probably should have. I just thought it was interesting that he was one of their least used options despite the season he had.
  20. His playoff usage would definitely indicate that. Despite his incredible regular season numbers he was not one of their go to relievers in the post season.
  21. MLB.com just placed him 8th in our system.
  22. I find it interesting that TV Dinner only pitched in one of the Mariners playoff games. Most of the Mariners pen appeared in 3 games.
  23. I really don’t want them to overpay for Nimmo. I feel the trade market for a CF is the way better route. Jays have the assets to make that happen.
  24. He also misses a s*** load of bats.
  25. Will be interesting to see if they keep Macko starting or begin converting him to a Power Reliever now. High 90’s fastball and a plus plus Curveball. He’s also a legit prospect not sure why people are referring to him as a lottery ticket. He was like Top 10 in the Mariners system across every scouting service lol.
