    I feel Bassit, Berriors, and Kikuchi all showed signs of encouragement in their last outings. Tonight’s a big test for Bassit though.

    I think its from a place of frustration. The Starting Pitching has been very bad. If it was just average the Jays are probably 10 games over .500 right now. Instead they are 10-7. Just a lot of already non competitive games.

    The fact that he has solved his only Achilles' heel which was command is so scary for the league. I want an Ace reliever so bad. I have wanted one since Andrew Miller's reign of terror lol.

    I don't think you can DFA this guy. I genuinely believe Richards will be an impact reliever in this league. Might just not be here. I hope its here.

    Winning would be wonderful. But I would love to watch a game that isn't over after the 1st inning lol.

    Some people stay in hotels and clean up after themselves. Other people say why would I clean up they have staff for that. Gotta ask yourself which one are you.

    Getting a chance to pitch uninterrupted has probably done him wonders. His biggest issue is he just hasn't consistently pitched enough. Hes been in and out. Starting and stopping rehabbing. They yoinked him between Starting and Relieving a few times. The Blue Jays probably want to leave him completely untouched for a month and see what he can do.

    He looks great and he’s definitely getting more confident again. I’m happy with our Outfield situation but glad he’s bouncing back. Could be an option again next off-season!

    I don’t know the option to remove Kirk from the bases but not lose his bat or Defense certainly holds an appeal. I think it could also keep guys healthier not having to be on the bases all the time. Every team would probably employee a designated burner which would add excitement for sure. The one where you lose the DH one is straight up stupid though.

    Hardly a spin when he went from striking out nobody to more than strikeout per inning lol. He’s had dramatically different results from his career numbers. Jay Jackson had a bad outing otherwise hes got a ton of swing and miss.

    He discovered swing and miss and it’s glorious. Up until this season he blew. Hopefully it continues.

    1. Its Mid April 2. You can’t argue with facts. He has been. That doesn’t mean it’s going to continue. 3. He’s changing his approach. He’s throwing his slider more. He’s effectively getting more swing and miss and results are improving thus far. Im definitely allowed to change my stance with his performance doing a 180. I also don’t cheer against players that wear the Blue Jays uniform because that would be stupid. If you think I have been cheering against him since I posted that comment you’re an idiot.

    There's a legit shot Pop might get optioned after this game. Despite being arguably the best reliever on the roster so far this season.

    New position player pitching roll kinda f***ing us tonight. Wasting any more relievers feels awful.

    Looks like Gausman could go 6. 5 for sure. Hard to imagine them avoiding a move though.

    It’s crazy we are 10-6 because the pitching has been mostly awful and the offense could be way better. Things should get much better. Just 2 really bad games in a row.

    Merrifield isn’t smashing the door down either. I’m hoping Barger emerges and steals that job at some point.
