    You just can’t justify giving Biggio 3 at-bats in game like this. This was your window to use Kirk or Merrifield. You’re not going to pinch hit until you roll back to spot 6 in the lineup.

    Gausman is definitely giving us surplus value on that contract so far. And everyone was happy at the time it was signed. It’s clear since 2021 hes been a top 5 pitcher in Baseball.

    Another good inning by Pop. He’s only really had the one bad outing in Houston that inflated his numbers.

    28 swings and misses today by Gausman. That’s elite. I believe only Shane McClanahan has got more swings and misses in a start this season.
