I mean I hope they don't get Cease lol. But they are positioned to out bid anyone for the next big Starter to hit the market. They have just so much infield depth of prospects and their infield is already very young.
Orioles aren't legit with that rotation. As soon as that lineup cools off for a strech they will start losing a bunch of games. I do think they will be a team in the mix most of the season though. They need to make a big splash for a Starter.
Not that I'm the biggest fan of Tim Mayza. He is the only lefty in the pen and don't think he needed to pitch this game. Was kind of a perfect spot for Nate Pearson followed by Jay Jackson.
Belt had a bunch of s*** calls in his earlier at-bats still managed to have a great night. Belt obviously is seeing the ball well and was tired of getting f***ed. I like it.
So Bass claims he think he found something in his Boston outing. And faces 2 batters tonight and strikes them both out. I am intrigued. Wonder if he gets the 8th.
He's now made 11 starts at Double-A has been pretty good. Will probably see him finish this season at Buffalo. Might not be out of the realm of possibility he could make a spot start in Toronto if needed in the right matchup.
