    Kikuchi once threw a complete game against us. And our fan base goes absolutely f***ing crazy if he pitches more than 5 innings as a Jay lol.

    Unlucky or just punished for his mistakes. His slider is nuts the majority of the time but every once in awhile he will hang a cement mixer and other teams don't miss it.

    I mean hes come into some tie game situations late. Or extra innings with the ghost runner and gave up the lead. But hes been good most of the time. Can’t really blame him to much. He’s also not making much money. Its not like he signed a huge deal is under performing. I just feel he’s the least of our problems. Im all for adding another late inning arm so he doesn’t have to pitch as often though.

    He hasn’t even been that bad lol. I blame Sportsnet for trying to make him look like he was the new Mariano Rivera with that goofy ass closer intro lol. Hes 23-26 in saves. He’s actually pretty good he’s just by no means elite or shut down. But he’s going to do the job the majority of the time. None of his numbers stand out though.

    No team can kill a rally faster than the Jays lol. Bases loaded with no out. Springer swings first pitch when the pitcher had literally walked the ballpark. Promptly grounds into a double play. Couple pitches later out of the inning all together. Awful. I mean atleast they got 1 on the double play I guess lol.

    You need to score runs to win games. And Bassit has been pretty bad his last 3 starts.

    Oh I do it’s clear what he was trying to do in April. It was extremely unsuccessful. The adjustments he made was realizing he had no shot at hitting the ball unless he’s trying to pull the ball. I watched him all last year I own 6 Arizona Diamonds in Fantasty.

    His stats are starting to normalize. He spent pretty much all of April trying to hit the ball the other way and it would hit nothing but pop ups and weak ground balls.

    Interesting how they let Danny Jansen be dead pull hitter but nobody else. Varsho and Chapman probably both see immediate power gains doing this.
