Varsho should be hitting 9th vs righties. Not playing vs Lefties. And hopefully be a defense and pinch runner post trade deadline.

I think he's going to be cemented there for awhile. Atleast while he's hot. Springer will have to get hot before he climbs the lineup again at the minimum. Wouldn't surprise me if he hits behind Chapman tomorrow.

You can't possibly compare this to the Mitch White swap. Once again don't like paying premium arms for Swingman your own organization should be developing. Hader is a lockdown elite end of the game reliever who doesn't give up contact.

The only silver lining about Romano is its a back thing and not an arm thing. But he might have to take some time to rest it. If that means a DL stint you do it. Can't afford to go 2 relievers short when you factor in Mitch White occupying and stealing a spot of an actual Major League picture currently. There's a dominant late inning reliever on the market. He's a rental but he would be a hell of a rental. And ultimate insurance for Romano. Chad Green is a nice. But he's no Josh Hader.

Would love to just have one more swing a miss reliever to the mix. Late inning guy with experiance. Yea Green could potentially be part of the solution. But coming off an injury we really don't know if were getting the Yankees version of Chad Green. He could be next year but this year could hit or miss.

It's just facts man lol. Remember he was a player that didn't want to get vaccinated originally. Couldn't play in Toronto early in the Season just last year. I would love to have him back on a cheap deal. But with the infield prospects the Jays have coming and his desire to probably both get a good deal for himself and considering his family which he talked about quite a bit. I don't see the fit long term.

I severely doubts Whit wants to finish his career here. He's a southern boy probably wants to play a little closer to home. Toronto is very liberal and of course in Canada.

I think they tried him elsewhere once or twice during his first season. But maybe he will get his head out of his ass now that he’s not getting what he wants. He’s been very adamant about hitting leadoff.

The Jays have been missing that weapon out of the bullpen for years. Had they had it they don’t lose that game in the Seattle series. Romano is decent but he’s not that guy. Someone like Josh Hader has that dog in em. When push comes to shove your gonna strikeout and not advance base runners off him.
